About the Festival
The West Coast Mini Festival of Rugby attracts over 2000 players, parents, coaches and supporters to Somerset on the idyllic West Coast of England in pursuit of silverware along with some invaluable tournament experience.
The age groups of U8 – U12 sees some of the youngest players taking part, some having their first taste of an international rugby tournament. This and the fact teams travel from all over the UK and Ireland makes this one of the most exciting junior tournaments on offer.
Mix a superb holiday region with a rugby hot bed and you are sure to have the perfect ingredients for a successful weekend on and off the field. The fun doesn’t stop at the end of play, as you are sure to have formed new friendships with other teams and their supporters when you go back to the holiday village to enjoy the days highlights and superb entertainment.

The venue for the 2009 West Coast Mini Festival of Rugby is Weston Super Mare RFC who are one of the most popular sides in the South West. Weston Super Mare, the seaside town in North Somerset is the ideal location for the West Coast Mini Festival of Rugby. Weston as its known by the locals is renowned for its pier with plenty of entertainment for all ages, young or old.
